Project Abstract

The aim of the project is the genetic improvement of Thailand's Beef Cattle and Buffalo herds through the use of government breeding programs using BREEDPLAN - a pedigree and performance recording system developed in Australia. This is combined with an intensive training program to ensure that Thai researches have the skills to use modern animal breeding techniques on an on going basis.
