Five new selection indexes for the Murray Grey Beef Cattle Society have been released in conjunction with the July 2023 Murray Grey BREEDPLAN analysis. The new indexes are the:

• Vealer Terminal Index (VT)
• Supermarket Index (SUP)
• Heavy Grass Fed Steer Index (GF)
• Northern Terminal Index (NT)
• Breeder Replacement Index (BR)

The five new selection indexes will replace the previous Australian Murray Grey selection indexes and were developed by the Murray Grey Beef Cattle Society in conjunction with staff from BREEDPLAN.
