Two new selection indexes for the New Zealand Shorthorn Association have been released in conjunction with the July 2024 Shorthorn BREEDPLAN analysis. The new indexes are the:

• Self Replacing Index
• Dairy Index

The two new selection indexes will replace the previous New Zealand Shorthorn selection indexes and were developed by the New Zealand Shorthorn Association in conjunction with staff from BREEDPLAN.
