We are deeply saddened by the passing of Dr Andrew Swan, Chief Scientist at the Animal Genetics and Breeding Unit (AGBU), on 14 December 2024. ‘Swanny’, as he was known, had a profound impact on the BREEDPLAN evaluation and was instrumental in forging stronger relationships between ABRI and AGBU in his role as Chief Scientist. We will miss his wisdom and wit.
