Three new selection indexes for the Wagyu Society of South Africa have been released in conjunction with the August 2022 Wagyu SA BREEDPLAN analysis. The new indexes are the:

• Cow Calf Producer Index (CCP)
• Long Fed Terminal Index (LFT)
• Short Fed Terminal (SFT)

The three new selection indexes were developed by the Wagyu Society of South Africa in conjunction with staff at the Agricultural Business Research Institute (ABRI) in Australia.
